Star Citizen

Just wondering if anyone else has seen this:

New game by the guy behind Wing Commander, Privateer, Starlancer and Freelancer. I'd urge anyone who enjoys space shooty type games to get involved. If you do decide to pledge some money, use my link, please!

I don't get any money or anything. Just entered into a draw to win some cool shit. We also both get some in game money.

Looking forward to this as well and going to pledge through Kickstarter. Where I btw spend way too much money these days. I used to buy games I never played. Now I finance games I dont have to play in a year or so :)

Currently I've pledged at the "Wingnut" level. I'm considering spunking my Christmas bonus on upgrading to the "Come Fly With Me" level, as they've just released some documentation about the RSI Constellation ship, which you get at that level.

Yes, Wing Commander especially. Privateer and Freelancer were a bit more free-form. This one's going to have a military campaign, then some free form Elite-like trading etc. About 8 hours left before the crowd-sourcing campaign ends. Currently at about $5.5 million, aiming for the $6 million stretch goal.
